The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Baía Azul is ideally situated a 4-minute walk from Funchal’s beachfront. Honestly everything! Maybe one of the best hotel stays ever. The sun deck balcony is amazing place to relax and chill, the hotel staff is great, the views stunning. Can’t wait to come back!

Renovated in 2018, the 4-star Hotel Alto Lido is located in Funchal’s prime area – Lido, 2.5 km from the city centre. Excellent hotel, great facilities, staff and breakfast. Could not fault this hotel.

As part of the Vila Porto Mare resort, this hotel offers 4 restaurants, 6 bars and 5 swimming pools. Porto Mare features an extensive tropical garden on the Atlantic oceanfront. Very clean. Many services are available, in the hotel and around it. Close to the beach and not far from the center. The room was huge!

Matatagpuan sa ibabaw ng natural peninsula, nag-aalok ang The Cliff Bay ng mga panoramic view ng Atlantic Ocean at private access sa dagat. I and my daughter like specyfic and unique athmosphere in this hotel.We have very pleasant memories from Cliff Bay. We come back there

Located in Funchal, within 600 metres of Gorgulho - Gavinas Beach and 2.9 km of Formosa Beach, Vila Vicência provides accommodation with a bar and free WiFi. Beautiful location and facilities, the indoor pool and jacuzzi were great for a rainy day. Staff is very friendly and accommodating and the room itself was huge with a private balcony. I would absolutely stay here again!

Set within a leafy garden, this hotel boasts an outdoor pool overlooking Funchal coastal cliffs. Pestana Vila Lido Madeira Ocean Hotel‘s studios are spacious and decorated with soft beige colours. The staff was really friendly, location is great, as hotel is right by the ocean. In the evening the sound od waves is the only thin one hears. Self service buffet breakfast was great, there is a lot of choises. When weather was good, you can eat on the terrace. And semi circular room gives beautiful views of the ocean and cliffs near Funchal. Would come again!

Located close to Funchal’s city centre, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Meliã Madeira Mare offers free WiFi, an indoor and outdoor pool and a spa. Hotel on a top location. The rooms were big, comfi and supet clean. The staff was very helpfull. Would go back and recomend it to all of other travelers to madeira. Just to add, the indoor pool is big and open even after 9 PM. You even have an indoor garage space for your car included.

Located in Lido, just a 5-minute walk from the oceanfront promenade in Funchal, the recently refurbished Allegro Madeira offers 2 restaurants, an outdoor pool, 360º rooftop bar, spa and fitness... There is everything what you need. Clean rooms and bathrooms, enough space and balconies for each room. Location is near the sea, there are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. Personel is very friendly and professional. Breakfast was good, wise choice for one’s needs. There is also airport shuttle bus stop near the hotel, which is a great plus if you plan travelling with it.
