Poa Poa Bungalows features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Kiwengwa. The place is lovely, well kept and has all the necessary amenities (swimming pool, WiFi, etc). Laura and the whole team will go out of their way to help you, including arranging trips or taxis. The breakfast is delicious, comes with good coffee, fruits, fresh juice and more. The bar has a great variety of cocktails and dishes, and there is live music on Thursday nights. Would totally recommend staying here if you are looking for a small hotel.

Great location on a quiet strip of beach. Really clean. Exceptional breakfast. Simai does whatever he can to help out. Will come back some day.

The hospitality was top staff very kind and welcoming, I really liked there's a medical clinic on site and for travel a covid testing available with 24 hours just about a short drive away. I liked it enough to book a return this same week.

Best thing about hotel is that you can ask whatever you want and 99% of your wishes come true. As European I like some things made differently as they are in Africa but if you ask the hotel staff makes it! As example I can say they make awsome tuna stakes if you ask them! And they also add rum to your coconut if you ask. So the main tip is - ASK! Moreover, as experienced travelwr I have been reading reviews about the hotel and two things were very disturbing (a) that the selection of food os not very rich; and (b) that the tides make the sea go away for a far far way. To tackle that I shall say that (a) food is good and changes everyday, so even on 11 night stay you will have a varios optios to choose from (especialy if you are into sea food); (b) tides are constant but there was no day with out sea at your foot steps to the pool, meaning that some times you have to wait half a day before sea comes back but it eventualy does.

Great host, who went above and beyond to ensure that I had a great stay. Nice location. Walking distance to the beach. The room has both a fan and AC, which helps with keeping the place nice and cool.

Facing the beachfront, Veraclub Zanzibar Village offers 4-star accommodation in Kiwengwa and has a garden, restaurant and bar. very good resort, i really liked it. nice and clean rooms, nice beach and pool, great and helpful staff! a recommend!!

Surrounded by lush vegetation and offering a private beach area, Bahati Villa is situated on Kiwengwa beach. The small hotel offers a restaurant and bar and a tour desk. I was upgraded to a bigger room and I had my own outside seating area. Excellent and plenty of choices of food for breakfast. The restaurant also served delicious lunch and dinner. The location was safe and quiet. Security on property. Friendly owners and staff. The back up generator really helped when the whole Zanzibar lost power for several hours.

Khadija Kiwengwa Apartment is situated in Kiwengwa, a few steps from Kiwengwa Beach and 39 km from Peace Memorial Museum. - wonderful and helpful stuff - great location, just few steps to the beach, the best restaurants, bars, local shops - clean, spacious room with great view on the palm trees and a bit of ocean - hot water all the time - very good Wi-Fi connection, no problem with remote work, Teams calls, VPN connections etc. - delicious breakfast with view on the ocean I will go back there any time
