The room was big; and there was a balcony with a partial ocean view. The staff was very nice and helpful. Housekeeping available; there are also laundromats for guests. It is an old property, but instead of seeming worn-out it had this "American movie from the 60s" vibe :)

If you are looking for a great place for a good value, a good location with very friendly staff this is the place! My biggest disappointment is that there are two months I am headed here and there is no availability for the dates that I will be traveling here....If I had a choice I would stay here every time. It was so great!

You are about a 5 minute drive to the beach and basically it is a straight line to it. I will book again when visiting San Diego.
