B'fast was fruit juice, amazing muesli and sausage and eggs and a few bits and pieces. The worker (very pleasant lady) who brought the b'fast enquired if she should set the outside table but I said I would sit inside as weather cool. There was a table to eat at in the studio. Accom was good quality, clean and well designed for max space. No propblems there. Easy to find 1 km off N2 about 3 km south of Kroonstadt. I suggest phone when you turn off the highway to ensure you stay on correct unsealed but well maintained road. Variety of and plenty accomodation so probably would get in at last minute. Host Veronika pleasant and switched on. Plenty of thick bush and riverine habitat. Saw large herd of springbok and about 5 Sable antelope. Security appeared to be good.

The accommodation was exceptionally clean and tea/coffee making facilities were provided. We ordered an evening meal of roast Karoo lamb which was very good. Loved the view of the sandstone ridge and having the chance to hike it. The braai place is well appointed and dry wood was provided which made all the difference.

The rooms were always. The place is very remote but once we arrived, nature was very welcoming and calming. Everything was readily available so we needed nothing. Corlia you are best host always wanting to know that your guests are great and enjoying their. We are definitely coming back here next year.
