This beautifully designed and cosily furnished cottage is an absolute gem! You can enjoy the amazing view into nature from inside through the big windows, from the big porch or - and this was our big highlight - from the fire-heated hot tub. At night you can watch the stars sitting in the hot tub with nothing but nature around. It is simply beautiful and a great place to calm down, relax and enjoy the quiet away from all street noise. Since it is entirely off the grid, it is not affected by loadshedding. We’d highly recommend taking a factory tour in the olive oil factory with Allison while there. Both Allison and Francis are very welcoming, friendly and caring hosts. If we ever make it back to South Africa, the trip up to the farm with this special cottage will be a must on the itenerary!

Situato a Riversdale, l'Oudebosch Guest Farm offre sistemazioni con giardino e terrazza. La struttura si trova a 17 km da Hessequa Tourism Information. What an amazing place, the scenery is out of this world. Reminded me of series like Outer Range or the movie Nope, but the surroundings here are greener and wilder. Enjoy the horseback ride, even if you have no experience I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful experience exploring. You can also go hiking or use the mountainbikes. I really enjoyed the chats with Linda on the trail and the BBQ at the home. The chalets have everything you need and we even got welcoming muffins and cookies on arrival. The pool is nice and everything is safe. Hope to return some day and I hope many more will enjoy their stay here
