Sehr gemütliche kleine Hütte mit angenehmer Einrichtung. Der Whirlpool war wirklich fantastisch! Es war zudem angenehm, dass es einen Bereich mit normalen Toilleten (neben der privaten Camping Toilette) gab. Besonders gut hat die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber geklappt.

Everything! It's a gem of a place, beautiful surroundings, amazing facilities, log cabin was perfect, owners extremely friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and all round just perfect. The perfect place to have down time, be off grid, be at one with nature, enjoy the purity of the land and be surrounded by lots of wildlife.

This was a beautiful getaway for our wedding anniversary. Really peaceful and relaxing. We loved how it was a single pod and not a site that was overcrowded. The owner has really put effort into making this comfortable even down to the milk and tea bags which was much appreciated ☺️

From start to finish this holiday was great, the owners were really helpful before we arrived, they were there to meet us, lovely peaceful tranquil break. The beds were so warm during the night and it was great to have your own washing and toilet facilities. It was my birthday, the tent had been decorated and a bottle of champagne arranged by my partner with the site was waiting. Lovely and clean with everything you need.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Suffolk shepherd hut. The location is outstanding situated just outside of York within a short drive to the shuttle bus service into York city centre. The hut itself is very well equipped essentially everything you could possibly need for a long weekend utensils for preparing meals etc.. The overall feel of the place is amazing. The BBQ outside which doubles up as a fire pit which we used along with the log burner are also nice additions! We also enjoyed the alpacas which were nearby in their field. The owner allowed us to go over with her to feed them. To close we really enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to rebooking in the not too distant future.
