The accommodation blends into the beautiful natural jungle and beach landscape and feels perfect for the setting. Be advised that it is a bit rustic but there's a shower and a flushing toilet and our bed was really comfortable. There are no plug points in the room but you can charge your devices in the dining area. A mosquito net is provided which was great as it meant we could leave the windows open for a cooling sea breeze at night. We were a stone's throw from the water but also surrounded by trees, it was magical. The staff were helpful and friendly but unobtrusive. The food is traditional Khmer cuisine and everything we had was delicious and made with a lot of care. There are also a few other resorts in the bay that serve different food styles. Sunset Beach is more remote than some of the other bays on the island and does not have a ferry port or really much other boat traffic making it perfect for swimming, paddling and snorkeling. This does mean that you have to hike in to the accommodation but it's completely manageable, just be sure to pack in a backpack rather than a suitcase or kit bag. All the pertinent information and directions are sent out in an email as soon as you book. This stands out as one of our best beach holidays, highly recommended.

E viajado por muchos países y este lugar se robo mi corazón; tiene una pequeña playa privada, el personal los dueños son realmente muy amables y no solo hacen su trabajo si no que también resuelven bien. Toco lluvia y mi carpa se mojo ; me cambiaron a otra mas grande impermeable y mas grande sin costo , ademas los sábados hacen una parrillada gratis para los invitados, lejos el valor de su personal es 100% recomendable . Vengan no se arrepentirán 👌🏻
