Our stay at Sky View Camp was wonderful, we arrived by car and where able to park it on a sheltered hotel parking lot near to the street to Merzouga. Hassan collected us there and drove us to the camp. The tents are very very nice, clean and comfortable, the view at night is definitely worth it. We had previously booked a one hour quad tour through the desert through Hassan (highly recommend!) and in the evening the guests get served a delicious meal (soup, two main courses and dessert). In the evening Hassan and the other guys at the camp prepare a fire and play traditional music. If you want you can dance and try to play the instruments yourself (much more difficult than the guys make it seem). We booked one night and spontaneously asked if we could stay one more night, so that we could do a tour through different desert locations the next day and experience one more night at the camp. If you have the time I’d recommend staying two nights. In the morning a nice breakfast awaits you and one can slowly start in the day. Hassan and everyone else at the camp is super nice and we couldn’t have wished for a better time in the Sahara desert. Thank you for the great memories! :)

Io ho dormito nella tenda igloo è meravigliosa arredata come un hotel a 5 stelle il letto comodo la doccia grande e con acqua caldissima e un profumo nella tenda che non dimenticherò la cena e colazione eccezionale con servizio impeccabile e non perdetevi le 2 ore di cammello per arrivare al campo, per gustarsi il tramonto in mezzo alle dune con il cammelliere Ali che ci ha scattato foto bellissime grazie a voi il mio sogno è diventato realtà. Una tirata di orecchie a booking che non specifica che tutto il pagamento deve avvenire in contanti in loco la carta di credito è solo una garanzia.

La struttura è da sogno.. di una bellezza unica. Arrivando in auto si deve raggiungere un albergo al limitare delle dune dove parcheggiare in sicurezza. Da lì abbiamo optato per il transfert in cammello verso il Camp (da pagare extra).Esperienza meravigliosa, accompagnati da ragazzo berbero gentilissimo che ci fatto molte foto e sostare quanto volevamo nelle dune. Dopo un oretta si arriva alla meraviglia che è il Camp. Le valige le troviamo già alla tenda..loro hanno viaggiato in 4x4. Personale accogliente e gentilissimo, disponibili ad ogni richiesta. Dal benvenuto alla cena da 5 portate siamo stati trattati come re e regina. Dopo cena musica intorno al fuoco per riscaldarsi come tradizione nomade vuole. La tenda era pulitissima e spaziosa, con tutti i confort. Non è riscaldata ma con abbigliamento pesante e le belle coperte a disposizione siamo comunque stati bene (visitato i primi di gennaio). Colazione abbondantissima a buffet. Per rientrare alla macchina abbiamo usufruito della loro 4x4. Esperienza totale indimenticabile.

We spent a lovely day at this camp. The hosts pick us up at a parking lot of a hotel and took us to the desert camp which is indeed located quite far from other camps. Transportation was included in the price. Food was very tasty both for dinner and breakfast. The sunset camel ride was extra 200 mad per person but a very nice experience. The camels looked healthy. We also had a live music performance at night followed by a short walk into the dunes. Overall a great experience and good value for money.
