Extremely welcoming hosts & staff. Everything is very new, clean and facilities and amenities are excellent. The location is so beautiful, it's tucked away in a magical jungle, yet it's close to tayrona national. Bed was super comfy, sheets very clean and neatly arranged. The communal area is beautiful, with music playing and a relaxed atmosphere.

You can take cars or motos to get here because it’s very rocky and up in the mountains, the views were BREATHTAKING.

We had 6 nights here and enjoyed all of them. Taganga itself can be a bit hectic, therefore staying at Bareke Azul on the hillside was just wonderful - only 5 min from centre of Taganga but far enough to get some peace, quiet and wonderful views. Also, one of the owners Ramon is just a really great and friendly host. All in all, we had an amazing stay at Bareke Azul. It’s not a luxury hotel, but considering the price, it’s perfect.

Beautiful views, the bathroom has the most amazing view from the shower, the bed is super comfy and the animals are so sweet. A good walk from the center which is perfect, the breakfasts are delicious - you can choose from 3 (arepas, pancakes or smoothie bowls) all so tasty. The best coffee and cake, pizza and limonades as well :) We were meant to stay 2 nights and it will be closer to two weeks!

Hostal Ana is a recently renovated luxury tent in Santa Marta, where guests can make the most of its bar and shared lounge. Really beautiful cabin room overlooking the Sierra Nevada, the room was very comfortable and clean. The staff gave us complimentary expresso and were always there when we needed something. The food was also great! Would definitely recommend:)
