It was quite an experience to stay in front of Kilimandscharo. Its just a tent but still comfy. And we had a perfect clear view in the morning. The main reason why we loved to stay there is Brian. It's rare that you get such an friendly service for everything. Brian is just a good guy who takes care of you as a guide and is cooking delicious meals. Thanks for your hospitality we would came back! We thought it needs a lot of time to reach the place. But from Nairobi with public transportation by train to Emali, Boda to Matatus in Emali, Matatu to Oloitokitok and Boda to the camp it was quite easy and faster then expected.

This spacious, fully-furnished tent opens onto a wooden patio. It contains a 4-poster bed with a mosquito net and a private bathroom with a claw-foot tub. The Kilima camp is very close to the main entrance of Amboseli, and is inside a compound that also features a small conference center. The dining hall is large and rather beautiful, with a comfortable bar located on the opposite site. There is a tower inside the dining area which, via several intermediate floors, leads up to a roof deck which offers a spectacular view over Amboseli and surrounding landscape. We really liked our spacious, almost luxurious tent, which featured a wooden sliding door and a large ensuite bathroom. In fact, it felt more like a house than a tent. The food was excellent throughout.

Brian’s cooking was phenomenal, Kwenia and Tom were great on walking safaris. Tom even took me across the border into Tanzania on my last day to continue on my journey. The location is serene and beautiful. Got to walk among giraffes and to learn a lot about tracks, plants and the Maasai culture.

This tent has a view, patio and private entrance. Situated in Amboseli, Kibo Safari Camp provides accommodation with an outdoor pool, a garden and a bar. Complimentary WiFi is offered. We had a wonderful stay. The tents, bar and restaurant are extremely good. The service and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Pedro. The best omlette and pizza maker.

Featuring free toiletries and bathrobes, this tent includes a private bathroom with a bath, a shower and a hairdryer. this is my second time here. i preferred the tent over the cottage. the staff was lovely, food is good and the proximity to the park perfect. my only complaints are no hot water, especially coming from a safari when you’re covered in dust and i’d have liked our driver to eat with us.
