We were warmly welcomed and the place is loved by adults as well as children. Asanka's wife Sadamali prepared our dinner and it was the best meal we had in Sri Lanka. The hotel arranged the safari. The jeep driver who provides excellent service is the best guide. The sound of the river is like a bavana throughout the night. Love it.

A great area in front of the beautiful river. Good value for money, dinner was very good!! And the staff is very friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room is very clean! We took a safari with them and it was great. Totally recommend it

Rakwana jõe vaatega majutusasutus Athgira River Camp asub Udawalawe rahvuspargi ukselävel. Väga lähedal paiknevad ka Udawalawe veehoidla ja elevantide kaitseala. The athgira was a beautiful centre to go from out safari from. The staff were so extraordinar y kind and attentive. We had got engaged 2 days before and they had arranged a suprise afternoon tea gardens followed by an exclusive rose petal and candle filled engagement dinner. We love how much of a team they are and got to know them all. Special thanks to chalani, kithamini, Chanuka, kansaka and hinusha. Couldn't recommend more

This unique tent is set on the border of the National Park and comes with a private bathroom. Friendly staff, clean camp, and excellent amenities. Highly recommended

Featuring carpet flooring, tents come with an outdoor living area and a private bathroom with hot-water showers. Includes a torch, umbrellas and a luggage rack. The manager of the camp was extremely kind and available to chat, to show us around. The tent are perfect: very big and with all the services you might want. The food was very good. We had the best experience. Couldn’t ask for anything different!
