Encuentra glampings en Wilpattu National Park

Glamping Wilpattu by Thamaravila se encuentra en Wilpattu, a 34 km de Kumbichchan Kulama Tank y a 34 km de Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. Priya and his team couldn’t do enough for us and was so attentive with utmost understanding and kindness to our 22month old daughter. The food was fine dining at its best and kept making the chicken soup my daughter couldn’t get enough of. Priya’s knowledge of the wildlife in the park was great and again focusing on wildlife our daughter could see.

This fan-cooled tent has a safe, dining and sofa seating areas. Private bathroom comes with a shower and free toiletries. Magnífico todo. Desayuno exquisito. Personal muy atento. Las tiendas de campaña son una pasada. Muy limpio.

This unique tent is set on the border of the National Park and comes with a private bathroom. The stay was really nice and all the staff were incredible! Dinner at bonfire, breakfast and lunch were really good: fresh and local food. Safari tour was also guided with a lot of knowledge and good eyes from our host. Really enjoyed the stay!

The tent offers air conditioning, a private entrance, a terrace with garden views as well as a private bathroom boasting a shower. The unit has 2 beds. Really good location close to the national Park. We were originally supposed to stay in Green Sapphire but they let us down a few hours before we were due to arrive (seems they’ve done it a lot looking at the Google reviews), but the Mango Villa team had everything sorted even though we booked just a few hours earlier that day they were still able to organise 2 full day safaris for the following 2 days where we saw all sorts of great wildlife. Staff are all really friendly, especially the man who brings the food across in the evenings (unfortunately I don’t know his name). The food is good especially considering the remote location and nice packed lunches for the safari each day. Definitely the place to stay if you’re planning a Wilpattu safari!

The fireplace is the standout feature of this tent. The tent features a washing machine, a private entrance, as well as a private bathroom boasting a walk-in shower and a bath. Location in the peace and quiet next to the river. Host was super friendly and gave as a small free wildlife tour around the village. The food was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka having been there for 4 weeks. Arranged a safari at Wilpattu for us.

Featuring carpet flooring, tents come with an outdoor living area and a private bathroom with hot-water showers. Includes a torch, umbrellas and a luggage rack. Beautiful setting. The camp is very spread out and the tents are spacious and clean. I’ve camped all my life and this did not disappoint as it was very luxurious comparatively. Keep in mind it’s still camping but the tents have all of the comforts of home with a full shower and bathroom as well as a sitting room. Upon arrival we received welcome drinks and were given a very informative orientation where they went over the tents, meals and meal options, afternoon tea, night and morning walks as well as the safari options. We chose to go with the full day safari and it did not disappoint, we saw a variety of birds, many deer, water buffalo, a sloth bear and three leopards(a mother and her two cubs). The bbq dinner was fantastic as we sat around a camp fire which was a gorgeous setting. The morning breakfast was also special and incredibly romantic. The staff was top notch and catered to our every need. This is a must experience if you love camping. The tents has no ac but a great fan which made for a good night sleep.
