Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya er en nyrenoveret campingplads i Bidiyah og har fælles opholdsstue. Der er sikkerhedsvagt hele dagen, og der er restaurant og solterrasse. Great location at the foot of a big dune, while still being reachable by a normal car (no 4x4 needed). Beautiful setup with tents and little houses, very clean and spacious. The staff is amazing, would do anything for you. The food is fine, and there is enough for everyone. I liked the open roof shower, especially at night as you could see the moon and stars! The camp is more affordable in comparison with other camps in the area, but the activities have crazy prices. We ended up not booking a any acricitiy at the camp, but enjoyed the stars after the lights go off and woke up early to walk up the dune. Took us about 15min to walk all the way up for sunrise.

The tent features a private entrance, a seating area, as well as a private bathroom boasting a shower and a bidet. The tent offers a barbecue, a sofa, as well as a terrace and a patio. I had this place and a couple others camps down to the wire, on which place I should stay at, in the end I chose this place. Once experiencing it I was happy with my decision. You get a more private experience at this place compared to others as there are are less tents and people, this goes a long way and you won't see this in the description or know this until you are there. Rashid goes out of his way to make your stay very enjoyable, like a true Omani. The other bonus that this place has over others is that its at the top of some of the highest dunes you can stay at; which is good because their is less dune climbing for you. PLUS driving up to the tents is so much fun in the rental (its not hard, just keep your momentum). Dune bashing was amazing and same with the camel ride. Thanks again Rashid.

We stayed one night in the camp. The hosts, Ali, Majid and Faiz, were very friendly. There are five tents in the camp, which gives you a lot of privacy. The food they serve was one of the best foods we ate in Oman. After dinner, we sat around the fire, and the view of the stars was wonderful. Faiz took us on a trip to the desert, where we visited the Bedouin house. I highly recommend this camp.

The tent offers a barbecue, as well as a private bathroom featuring a shower. The tent features outdoor furniture. The unit offers 2 beds. The camp is on top of a sand dune and has amazing views. You can even enjoy the view on a swing. Very comfortable beds!

Guests will find a stovetop, kitchenware and an oven in the kitchen. The tent also has a barbecue. Hamoods ørkencamp ligger i Al Wāşil i Al Sharqiyah-regionen og har balkon og bjergudsigt. Hamood is a great host. Bed and blankets were very comfortable. The food was delicious. Programm and atmosphere was authentic and relaxed. We stayed for 2 nights, which we absolutely recommend for calm and serenity, but also to experience the desert in full.

SAFARI-Glamping ligger 50 km fra Wadi Bin Khalid og tilbyder indkvartering i Bidiyah-20 km inde i ørkenen fra landsbyen Al Hawaiyah. A small camp with only three tents, and we were alone during 2 nights. Very nice place ,good food and Azim, our host, very friendly! Watch out! No hot water or electric socket
