Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya se encuentra en Bidiyah y ofrece wifi gratis, salón de uso común, terraza y restaurante. Puedes llegar perfectamente con un coche normal, el último tramo menos de 2 kilómetros lo realizas por una carretera de arena que están trabajando para asfaltarla. Se encuentra en los pies de una gran duna. Descanso y comida perfecto. No te pierdas los tours que organizan. Nosotros hicimos el tour por las dunas al atardecer. This was one of the highlights of our holiday in Oman. I highly recommend staying with Rashid. His hospitality was fantastic, great sense of humour, very genuine and kind. Cuando llegamos nos invitó a tomar té con fruta y dátiles con el resto de huéspedes. La cena fue un buen momento para socializar y después Said nos reunió para ver las estrellas y contarnos historias de su familia, de la gente que vive en el desierto y de por qué decidió montar el campamento. Todo con mucho sentido del humor, pasamos un buen rato. El alojamiento es básico, como debe ser en el desierto, pero cómodo y limpio. La puesta de sol en las dunas junto al campamento fue estupenda. El transporte al campamento si se necesita, a diferencia de otros, es gratuita.

Nomadic Desert Camp se encuentra en Al Wāşil. El tented camp, que se encuentra en un edificio de 1998, ofrece parking privado gratis. Hay toallas y ropa de cama en el tented camp. Un alojamiento muy auténtico. El enclave perfecto, aislado de todo y de todos. Cabañas individuales y separadas, de modo que tienen mucha privacidad. Existen muchos baños y duchas disponibles. La cena y desayuno muy buenos y abundantes. Es gestionado por una familia q es muy hospitalaria. Siempre a tu disposicion te, café y agua fresca, todo ello acompañado de unos exquisitos datiles. Nosotros hicimos una hora en 4x4 por las dunas y luego nos llevaron a ver la puesta de sol a un paraje donde solo estás tú. Nuestro chofer fue Abdullah q es el dueño del hotel, persona muy amable, servicial, sonriente y divertida. Una experiencia inmejorable y totalmente recomendable.

Lovely, peaceful location way from the other camps, small setting and lovely people. We really enjoyed the ride there and the visits to the animals, the tour through the desert in the morning and the kids loved the short camel ride. Stars, sand and serenity. Lovely guide.

El SAFARI-Glamping ofrece alojamiento en Bidiyah, a 50 km de Wadi Bin Khalid y a 20 km del desierto de la localidad de Al Hawaiyah. La atención, la exclusividad, el emplazamiento, el trato…todo! Todo el mundo muy amable y muy eficiente. hubo varias tormentas, llovió, tronó, salió el sol.. fue increíble!

The Alsarmadi Desert Camp is an amazing experience. Our hosts picked us up in the nearby township of Bidiya, and it was only a short 30min drive out to the camp. You are surrounded by sand dunes, but high up enough to enjoy a beautiful sunset/sunrise. The hosts are very welcoming and can organise several activities during your stay in the desert. Some incur extra costs, like camel rides & lunch at a Bedouin camp. Or you can simply enjoy exploring the dunes, like we did. The tents are clean & comfortable, it was the best sleep of our whole trip! And as female travellers we felt safe the whole time. Breakfast & dinner were also delicious. Thank you to Said & his son Alfarooq for a wonderful experience in the desert!
