My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Milima Big 5 Safari Lodge in the Greater Kruger area in South Africa, and it was, without a doubt, one of the most remarkable experiences of our lives. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the lodge and its surroundings. The lodge perfectly blends luxury and nature, offering an authentic yet comfortable safari experience. Accommodation: The rooms were beautifully appointed, providing a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. Waking up to the sounds of nature and the sight of the stunning landscape right from our window was a daily delight. Staff: The staff at Milima Big 5 went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. They were attentive, friendly, and always available to assist with anything we needed. Food: The culinary experience was a highlight in itself. Each meal was a delightful adventure, with a variety of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes. The quality and presentation of the food were exceptional, adding to the overall luxury of our stay. Wildlife Experience: The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the wildlife. Guided by our fantastic guide, Sydney, we embarked on thrilling game drives, witnessing an abundance of animals in their natural habitat. Sydney's knowledge and passion for wildlife enriched our experience, making each sighting more special. Milima Big 5 Safari Lodge is more than just a place to stay; it's a gateway to a magical and unforgettable safari adventure. We left with hearts full of joy and memories that will last a lifetime. A continental or buffet breakfast is available each morning at the property. staff were amazing, friendly and helpful, accommodation was great we stayed in a river view tent. The grounds were beautifully maintained .

I was looking for something small, private and isolated in contrast to the typical "see the big 5 plans" in order to enjoy what the bush has to offer, and my expectations were absolutely exceeded. The staff is simply amazing. Ed and Ivone are amazing hosts! Ed is an amazing guide and apart from knowing everything about the bush, he really knows how to transfer his knowledge to his guests in a very passionate and genuine way. Ivone is very friendly, helpful and she always wanted to make sure that we were having a good time while we were in the camp. Sibu and Eunita were very sweet and they cooked delicious meals for us! Our last game drive was carried out with Tim who was also very knowledgeable and friendly :) The camp is beautiful and the way it is built respect the environment where is located; somehow open and mainly made of wood. During our game drives we were fortunate to see a lot of game and Ed gave us amazing explanations from a wide range of subjects, apart from sharing his personal experience from his time in the bush, which I really appreciated.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Mountain View Safari Lodge!! It is absolutely gorgeous!! Perfect place to relax, take in the natural surroundings and nourish the soul!!

This tent features a tea/coffee maker, private entrance and seating area. The setting was spectacular. It is out of the way and a bit difficult to find if self-driving. However, once there, the drive is worth the effort. Wild open area. Friendly staff. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Room large and charming with comfortable bed.

The tent offers a private entrance, a seating area, a terrace with garden views as well as a private bathroom boasting a shower. The unit has 3 beds. We liked the gamedrives the best. Our guide Brilliant was great, found and showed us all the animals. We saw four out of five of the bigfive (all except the rhino). The tents are large and comfortable. The food selection was large enough and the food very tasty.

Situated in Manyeleti Game Reserve, Buffelshoek Tented Camp offers a garden and barbecue. Sabi Sand Game Reserve is 34 km away. Free private parking is available on site. The property was in Manyaleti and there were no fences. The animals were free to move around. We had hyenas, giraffe, elephants and lots of birds in our camp. Our game driver, Beksom, was unbelievable in the way he was able to find all the animals. We loved the simplicity of the camp. All the meals were excellent.
