Beautiful lodge, incredible luxury tent with insane view of the water hole (must request this tent!). Everything exceeded my expectations by far! Delicious food and amazing staff. Shout out to the super knowledgeable and fun guide Angela and the owner/manager/cook Ivonne who made everything she could to make our stay the best possible! I am coming back!!

El Mountain View Safari Lodge ofrece vistas a la pileta y alojamiento con jardín y balcón. Ofrece vistas a la montaña y se encuentra en la reserva natural de Ndlovumzi, a 25 km de Jessica the Hippo. The lodge is half an hour’s drive from Hoedspruit. Then another 20 minutes to go through a gravel road. We were surprised by all the facilities. It’s very comfortable and even though the kitchen is small everything is there. It’s very quiet and you feel the nature around you. We had company of the monkeys who emptied all the garbage cans and came to drink water from the swimming pool the next day. The communication is fantastic via whatsapp, fast and enjoyable. Highly recommend to stay.

I took my fiancé (then girlfriend) away for the weekend with the intention of proposing. I got in contact with the reserve and told them about my plans and requested them to assist with the set-up. They took us out on a private game drive whilst the staff was preparing a breakfast spot at the view point. Everyone assisted and overshot expectations. Apart from the lengths they went to to make the moment special, the whole weekend was amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and one feels at home. I would definitely recommend Summerplace for a weekend break away.

Game drives are well organised by experienced and knowledgeable guide who have made the experience superb and memorable. Shoutout to our awesome game drive guide Iggy! Great room design and location overlooking the olifant river! Food prepared by the chef and his team is delicious and the attentiveness of the waitering team is commendable!

Accessible only by 4x4 vehicle or high suspension vehicle, this camps is located on the Gitlane Moonsicle Iudo African Community Cultural Site. best view we ever had in South Africa, and breakfast, lunch and dinner is worth a Michelin Star!!

Special thanks to Claire, Langu, Joas, Themba, Ben, Allen, Gift, Surprise and all the team in Kapama Buffalo Camp for the impeccable personalized experience of a lifetime. Saw all the Big 5 in our Game Drives, had 5 star scrumptious meals & drinks multiple times a day, rooms always clean and tidy with small surprise treats and always greeted with absolute warmth and hospitality from everyone at camp! Would recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience cause these guys are the absolute experts!
