Great location and great host

The hotel is perfectly located, a 5 minutes walk from the cathedral and a couple of minutes away from the central station, so it was very easy to reach by train from and to the airport. The room was not too big but it was very clean and comfortable, we did not need any more space for a couple of nights. Denis was very attentive and friendly and gave us an early check in after an early flight , which was very appreciated. I would definitely recommend to stay here when in Cologne.

There's water in a fridge on the 1st floor, still and 2 types of sparkling water. The breakfast was very nice and the staff very friendly and welcoming.

The staff were friendly and happy to help. My girlfriend left her sunglasses and the staff were more than happy to help and post the sunglasses back to her. Even with no German, I had no issues at all with communication. Although we didn't eat at the restaurant, the food smelt amazing on arrival and there were quite a few people there looking like they were enjoying their food. There is petrol station next door which was convenient for getting snacks/drinks.

Very friendly staff and good breakfast. Furnishings and ambience are a bit outdated, but everything was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the price-performance ratio was excellent.
