The Gresham Court offers a lovely getaway from the day to day world. It is a relatively short walk to downtown and the marina, where you can get to some of the best sights in the general area via a bus/car drive or ferry/boat ride. The owner/managers are a pleasant and helpful couple and they the provide the best breakfast we've ever had in our travels. The room was charming and the bed was very comfortable.

The wonderful Breakfast, which is pre-ordered the night before, is to my mind, a great way to get what you want. The location is superb, it took us 14 minutes to get to the promenade.

Access to the beach, lovely eating places , the air show and many hotel options of night entertainment. We also could see the air show which was being held in Paighton. Accommodation was fantastic too.

Both Paul and Kirsti were great hosts. They could not do enough for you. The room was clean, the facilities great, the food first class and the position of the guest house just a short walk from a bus stop. On our next visit to Torbay Babbacombe Palms will be the place we stay.

Lovely stay.. charming old building. Great value great breakfast and parking outside on street in front. Loving and very intelligent dig who seemed to genuinely love us after 2 minutes. Very interesting dig with above average brains. Sounds strange but true.

Paul and Felicity were the perfect Hosts, very friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrive to our last night.. Barclay Court is a beautiful guest house in a good location Away from all the noise to give you a peaceful night but within easy walking distance of everything Torquay as to offer.. We stayed in room 5 which was a excellent size with a huge bathroom with a large bath and very good sized shower unit. The room was very clean had a TV, and coffee and tea making facilities which were refreshed every day. Overall we really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely stay there again on our next visit to Torquay.. Would highly recommend Barclay Court Guest House...

A perfect stay! It is a family run guest house and they extremely helpful & room was comfy and clean. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. The owner is also the chef so is a bonus! Thank you for making us feel home. We will be back again later this summer.
