The service and hospitality from Akshay and Shanti made me feel like I was living with a long-lost family. The efforts they took to make sure I was comfortable were greatly appreciated. One of the highlights was playing soccer in the courtyard with the neighbourhood children and feeling like a part of the community. I stayed in a 5 star hotel in Delhi on my way to Udaipur and they offered me no solutions for obtaining a sim card beyond 'go to the market'. Akshay had a connection who came to the guest house to assist me with setting up my sim card over a cup of chai. Next time I am in Udaipur, I will be revisiting Akshay and his lovely family!

The place is well maintained with good infrastructure and utilities.the staff is down to earth guy who sorted and assisted us for a local guide and also helped us for booking vechile for local sightseeing..I believe all should prefer this place for comfortable room mattress the bed is good with clean bedsheets, Blankets and lavatory/bathroom..I would love to come back here whenever I visit Udaipur next..last but not the least this place is situated near all tourist places .

this place will give you a feeling of real India… it has something that foreign backpackers love. the atmosphere inside is very good, even though the windows face traffic (lake is also there), there is a sense of peace. the place is small so there will be no indian hangout (many hotels in udaipur have very noisy indian guests with alcohol).

The best thing about the property is its location, it is at walkable distance from the city palace. The property is also maintained very well.

Comfortable bed, excellent location, clean and nicely decorated room, very nice family who runs the guest house. Laundry service was quick and good. And special thanks to the the lady (wife) for providing an iron for me.

It was a very nice experiencie, the guest house is beatiful and well decorated. I loved my Room that was cleaned, and I had a very worm shower. And than the owner cooked a very nice breafast and lunch and she made the best lassi that I had in Índia. The owners is Very friedly.

If you want to travel in India never meeting real Indian people don't come here. The hotel is the genuine article. Incredible staff, beautiful room, really warm and hospitable place. I was invited to join the chef and his friends on the roof to celebrate a bachelors party. All of the food home cooked, the manager and owner turned up. Only stay here if you want to me authentic people on your trip to India otherwise stay in a 'palace' somewhere else. Can't recommend them highly enough.
