I chose Orietta Residencial based on exceptional other reviews, mentioned facilities and friendly atmosphere, and proximity to the Port (for travel to Santo Antao), main streets of Mindelo, and Laginha Beach. In all cases this was a fantastic choice. The Italian couple who run Orietta, and their team, are unbelievably friendly and helpful with a determination to make even the smallest stay perfect. The location is on a quiet street very close to everything, and with an amazing interior courtyard. The top terrace overlooking the pool is a nice relaxed sunny spot for breakfast but also to work and in the evening to have a few drinks during sunset. It is cooler and less rushed and noisy than the rest of Mindelo, away from some of the hassles in town. The room was cool, very tidy, with everything you need, including a marble bathroom with a large, reliable shower. Everything was spotlessly tidy and clean and the terrace area is perfectly designed to allow guests to feel at home and to easily relax. As the hosts also made is possible for me to arrive early (from the airport) and leave late (for the port), I can say with certainty their only focus is the well being of guests. From walking round Mindelo I can also say with certainty they have the best place!

Casa JPi se encuentra en São Pedro y ofrece alojamiento con terraza, restaurante y bar frente a la playa, a pocos pasos de Playa de São Pedro. If we knew our experience will be as great, we would definitely book for a longer stay! The village is still so authentic and very safe. We love the warmth, pureness and privacy the JP and his team offer. There is only 3 rooms in the house which allows for the quiet and homy feeling. We were lucky to have the room with the balcony which offers the best possible view. All the furniture and equipment is modern and well taken care of. The water is really warm (not always the case in Cabo Verde). We very much enjoyed the home made breakfasts and dinners. Will miss the very special marmalade, cakes, punch and the chats with the team and the guests we met! We wish you a wonderful stay and hope to be back too!

Everything was perfectly enjoyable. Got all the help we needed to plan our trip on, booking rooms, transport and got lots of great advice. Very interesting conversations with the charming and quite remarkable owner.

El Morabeza Village está situado a 3 km de Mindelo y cuenta con piscina al aire libre. Hay conexión Wi-Fi. Las habitaciones cuentan con patio, terraza y vistas al jardín. Helene and her husband are wonderful and nice people. Very helpful! The location is just perfect, calm and quiet, a great place to relax. The breakfast is perfect!

Laginha Beach Guest House se encuentra en Mindelo, a 4 min a pie de Praia da Laginha, y ofrece servicio de check-in y check-out exprés, habitaciones libres de humo, jardín, wifi gratis y salón de uso... El trato y comunicación con Sonia y Anselmo fue de 10, si volvemos a Mindelo repetiríamos sin dudarlo. Relación calidad precio muy buena, muy cerca de la mejor playa de Mindelo y el desayuno que nos prepararon estaba muy rico para empezar el día. Gracias por hacer nuestra estancia agradable y cómoda.
