We had a delightful stay at this guest house in the Provence mountains. The room was very cozy and the guest house offered breathtaking views of the picturesque surroundings. The warmest hospitality of the guest family made me feel right at home. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the delicious dinner served by the gracious hosts. There was a salad with quishe, wine and a delightful dessert, so it was a culinary experience to remember. The warmth and generosity of this guest family truly made my Provence mountain retreat unforgettable. It is a perfect getaway for those seeking tranquility and authentic French charm.

Situated in Blieux, Gaïa, maison d'hôtes Verdon, BBQ facilities, and free WiFi. With a garden, the property also features a terrace. The guest house provides a shared lounge. Beautiful scenery, overlooking the mountains, the quietness, the space, starts at night and trees starting to color as its the start of autumn. Lots of good hiking around such as le chiran. Very friendly and accomodating host. Recommend the dinner and breakfast Gaia offers, as it's nice to meet your fellow guests and it's very far to the nearest village/restaurant.

At the end of a narrow road, you find this gem of a B&B. The rooms are basic, but clean and you have to prepare your own meals in the common but lovely kitchen area. The very best of the stay is the hospitality of Pascal and his wife Nancy who runs the place, the gorgeous view and all the nice people that you meet at breakfast and evening meals. Just outside the doorstep there are lovely trails passning by that are worth trying out.

What a lovely country. In France, there is Moustiers Saint Marie and Gorge du Verdon in the Provence area. Heaven on Earth, both places. To be able to stay nearby, you look for a decent place. Sous des Chenes is one such value for money option! Breakfast wasn't included in our booking. The rest was a pleasure. Evguenia and Vladimir and their daughter Maria... and their gorgeous Husky Lyka were extremely warm and welcoming. The rented space is pretty and spic and span and very very comfortable, but the bedroom is a tad tiny. However, we had a car that came right up to the accommodation, so we only carried in the bare essentials. So all went well.
