The room was quiet, as well as the rest of the house located close to any shop, bar or restaurant of the village, but still in a very quiet area. I could chose among a wide variety of food for breakfast, and it was very fresh and good. You feel comfortable like at home, and I would recommend this place to stay for anyone visiting the village.

Especially the breakfast with home grown fresh fruit (september stay) was the best. The elevated position of the house makes you get the best views to the dart river and dartmouth.

Great hospitality, kind knowledgeable owners, super clean rooms that were beautifully decorated, and breakfast was gorgeous. The home couldn't be nicer, parking was a breeze, and Piper and Terence were so welcoming. We could only stay one night but highly recommend if you're passing through please plan a stay here, you won't be disappointed!!!

The Brookfield er gistihús með garði og sameiginlegri setustofu í Braunton, í sögulegri byggingu, 24 km frá Lundy Island. Lovely welcome from our host, Chris, who was lovely with our grandson, showing him the family guinea pigs. The family room we had was huge, with a spacious en suite. Everything was super clean, and breakfast was served to the conservatory table; a tray piled with cereals, fruit, yogurts, toast and warm croissants was plentiful, and the coffee was fresh and refills were happily provided. Chris also catered for a gluten free eater with gf crumpets and granola. The house is a one minute walk from all the shops and places to eat in Braunton-, which is a really nice village. Off road parking was useful, and the gorgeous beaches at Saunton Sands and Croyde Bay area both only a 10-15 minute drive away.

JJacqui & Robin were excellent hosts, they went the extra mile to make you feel welcome. The English breakfast was great, served in the spacious dining room with a view to the garden. The rooms were clean with lots of storage space. Great selection of books in the dining room/upstairs for those who are interested.

The room was lovely, spacious, and calm. The restaurant/pub was lively with locals, yet there was always space for us and our friends. Food was delicious--great pies, tasty fish, satisfying breakfast, and fine beverages (especially the Jail Ale). But the best part was the hosts: always welcoming and kind, flexible and attentive to details.
