Stayed for 2 nights 21 to 23 September What's there not to like? My stay was exceptional. The place itself has a cottage like vibe. It has everything you need and the decor, features etc is very high spec. Fully equipped kitchen, fridge, microwave etc. A TV with "proper" channels including netflix, very comfortable indeed. Lesley is on hand to answer and help with any questions or queries about the area and things to do. Plus they also offer a very reasonable, very flexible taxi service. Tiptop!!! The cottage is warm and cosy. It is set back in an area surrounded by beautiful green land and in a garden with lovely garden furniture and ample seating areas. It really has the best backdrop. There is also a fully equipped gym which I had the opportunity to use, very considerate to open it up for guests. The hosts have thought about everything you may need for a comfortable getaway. They were brilliant hosts, Lesley and Pat, their welcome was more like going to stay with friends for the weekend! The nicest people you would ever want to meet, hands on, making sure you're comfortable, super pleasant, engaging and just really really nice folks. I highly recommend the Glen Adorable... the name says it all!

And we were made welcome with beer wine and a variety of things for breakfast. Host was very welcoming. Place to park car.

Really welcoming and offered us tea on arrival. The room was warm and comfortable. The breakfast was immense. Brilliant place to stay.

El The Compasses, situado en la tranquila aldea de Littley Green, en el corazón de la campiña de Essex, es un pub victoriano lleno de historia y tradición. Very accomodating room, squeaky clean, good food in the pub. They even reserved a table for us, which they normally don't do.
