Kim was so warm and welcoming and was extra helpful in making us feel at home. The room was spacious and comfortable, clean and had all the amenities we needed. One night we could not book any restaurant so had a picnic in our room. Kim was so lovely in getting us plates, cutlery and a bottle opener. The house is not so far from Portree and a beautiful quite road.

Located in Braes on the Isle of Skye, Balmoral Skye offers accommodation with sea views as well as mountain and garden views. The location was fabulous, the garden and access to the beach was exceptional. The scenery was stunning, the welcome from Janice and Robbie was fantastic.

Gillian was a very gracious host, so warm and welcoming. The room was fantastic, well heated, comfortable and impeccably clean. I hadn't originally booked breakfast with our stay but was able to add it on arrival paying cash by the day for the delicious continental breakfast. With a fantastic view of the mountains from the breakfast room. The B&B is only a few minutes walk from the charming town of portree or an even shorter drive. Gillian had contacted us prior to our visit with some local restaurants for dinners which was greatly appreciated and booking in advance is essential as the town is very popular. I would highly recommend this beautiful home for any stay.

Great location that you can walk into town centre. Immaculate family room and use of a beautiful lounge area as well. Loved the addition of a small fridge in the room and amazing breakfast

Everything was amazing: our host Murdo was very welcoming, our room was big, clean and very comfortable with a beautiful view, and the food was absolutely delicious! If you're there, try the dining experience, you won't be disappointed! We will definitely come back here if we're ever in Portree again :)

Definitely it's an excellent place to stay for a few days. It's really near to Portree center, like 13 minutes walking. The room has all the necessary things to have a pleasant stay and the bed is so comfortable. The host is very kind and warm. Even he left us some stuff in the fridge like yogurts, orange juice, jam, cheese, etc. We really appreciate that. We would come back for sure! Thank you for making us feel like home.

Set 13 km from Portree, just 41 km from Talisker Distillery, Seal Cottage offers beachfront accommodation with a garden, a private beach area, a terrace and free WiFi. It was a beautiful spot near the beach. The owner left cereal, milk, and other amenities for breakfast. There was also nice little touches from the owner in the cottage that made it feel homey. The bed was comfortable. Would stay here again.

Carters Rest Guesthouse in Milovaig provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge with large sofas and a fireplace. The warm hosts make you feel welcome. The rooms are very nice and there are a lot of details in the B&B that make you feel special. The location is outside of the big tourist attractions which was for us a benefit. The breakfast is wonderful but what makes it at great experience is the option to eat in in the evening a la carte! They can make you unbelievable dishes (a star rating level). And they have a good car charger (32A/21 kW AC).

Stunning view from this cozy little B&B. We had a loch view room (a generous & thoughtful upgrade from the hosts) that slept two people comfortably. The common area was cozy and tidy. The breakfasts were great and we appreciated a full meal before setting out for the day to explore the beautiful Isle of Skye. Convenient location, less than ten minutes into Portree. Easy self check in process. Just like the pictures. The hosts are kind and helpful.
