Great location on a lovely tree lined road a short walk from the town centre. Our hosts were very welcoming and did everything they could to make us feel at home. The room was lovely, very comfortable and spotlessly clean, great attention to detail and thoughtfully decorated. Breakfast was very good including a vegetarian option which we both appreciated and enjoyed very much, good hot coffee too!

Hotel is very clean and well maintained. Warm welcome on arrival from host Tony and throughout our stay made us feel like visiting good old friend. Breakfast was exceptional with options to chose for each day and prepared to the high standard.

Valentina and Richard were so welcoming and helpful. The room was so comfortable and spotless. It is a short walk to lots of pubs and restaurants. We had fabulous meals in restaurants recommended by Richard and have lots of tips for our next trip. We would recommend The Norwood to anyone and will certainly be going back.

Both are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. The breakfast was outstanding and freshly sourced and prepared. The room was perfect for a solo traveler. Le Maitre is very conveniently located a couple minutes walk from shops and restaurants. I highly recommended Gary and Shirley's place for an excellent value and clean place to stay.
