Birchwood Guest Lodge offers air-conditioned accommodation in Balmaha. Free WiFi and freee parking is available at the property. The rooms gave out a unique atmosphere of coziness. We liked the unique way the beds were turning from sofas to beds, but we would also love it if they were a little wider. The room was spacious enough, and so was the internal private bathroom. The owners seemed friendly and caring.

Set in Ullapool, Harbour House has a garden. This guest house offers luggage storage space and free WiFi. The private bathroom is fitted with a bath or shower. we loved our stay in the Loch Cabin. it was modern, spacey, spotless clean. the view was magnificent, straight to the Barbour. excellent location and a good breakfast. note: while the property policy mentioned in booking.com says kids 3 years old and up are welcome, and the same is noted in the reservation approval, this is not the case for the loch cabins which are apparently for 2 adults only without possibility to accommodate any kids not even with additional fee. we arrived with a 5 year old and it was a bit of a shock to learn that we might no be able to check in. thankfully Alan the owner agreed (after some convincing) to let us check in with our kid. this was an exception (thanks Alan for the extra understanding and flexibility here) - so just sharing this important detail for those of you with kids.

We loved our stay of 2 nights in the Garden suite! Simply amazing! When we arrived we had a very nice warm welcome of Victoria, one of the owners of Brambles of Inverary. The Garden suite is just lovely! Amazing comfortable beds and sofa in front of the tv. My compliments to the housekeeper who specially arranged the stuffed animals of my daughter on her bed when we came back in our room. This totally made her feel really special. Brambles had their own restaurant and coffee café accross the street. In their restaurant they serve during the day nice lunches including amazing pastries and cakes. I was personally in heaven with 1 of their specialties, the blue berry lemon curd cake with lemon frosting. It's a good thing for my health that I do not live here haha. The first night we also had dinner at the restaurant of Brambles. This was also really excellent. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. This restaurant is nice for any kind of group. In the morning we had breakfast at Brambles which was included. You could choose something cooked from the menu and you were able to take anything you wanted from the counter. Like croissants, cereals or juices. We had Eggs Benedict, very tasty! Brambles is located at the main street of Inverary. Within 10 minutes walk of the Inverary castle and 1 minute walk of the Inverary Jail. Both I definitely recommend to visit! In the area there are also really nice hikes you can do for example go up the mountain 250 metres high to the look out point of Dun Na Cuaiche. Trust me it's worth it! The view at Inverary and Loch Fyne is breahttaking! Next time if Inverary is on our route, we will again book our stay with Brambles!

The room was huge and perfect for us as a family. It was so clean and bathroom was spotless and brand new! The breakfast was awesome. Wishe we had stayed longer. We will definitely be back.

On the edge of Loch Lomond and a 30-minute drive from Glasgow and its airport, this 4-star guest house has hearty Scottish breakfasts and free Wi-Fi. Comfortable, welcoming, relaxed, lovely all round. Great breakfast, best B&B in Balloch, hands down.

Just a few steps from Anstruther’s harbour and marina, with views over the Firth of Forth, The Waterfront offers 4-star bed and breakfast accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Everything and everyone was exceptional and all was very clean and lovely, the rooms where very nice and our floor was just our little group so that was nice too. The room was also very peacefull and very quiet. The bed was most comfy! The food in the restaurant (dinner and breakfast) where also super delicious and the restaurant staff delightful. Will come back asap! Thanks for a lovely stay!!!

In the heart of Inverness, Carisbrooke Guest House offers contemporary en suite rooms with TVs. There is free Wi-Fi and free private parking. Joy was very helpful, he was in touch with us through the booking chat until we arrived in order to be ready to meet us. He responded in a very short time. The bathroom was great, very big and modern, and it had both shower and a hot tub. The room was big enough for both of us and our luggage. Also, Joy let us leave the luggge in the lounge after checkout until we left Inverness. It was a very good value for money.

Ideally situated on Stranraer seafront, overlooking Loch Ryan and just 5 minutes' walk from the town centre and train station, this family-run guest house offers free Wi-Fi, ample, free, off-street... Absolutely wonderful, clean and so accommodating. The owner was gracious and kind. what a gem of a place. The charming atmosphere and delicious breakfast was such a pleasure. Thank you Elaine for being a fantastic host.
