Birchwood Guest Lodge offers air-conditioned accommodation in Balmaha. Free WiFi and freee parking is available at the property. The owner welcomed me when I arrived late in the evening , tired from the west highland way, and was very kind and warm! He was helpful and patient even though it was pretty late. The room was decorated so special, and had everything I needed for a good night sleep. The shower is great. The location is close to the WHW trail and was the best choice. Very close to a pub and a coffee place. I would stay there again.

I loved the courtyard to have a nice glad of wine after a day of travel. The breakfast was top notch (eggs Benedict on a croissant with smoked salmon) . my group loved walking the Fife path to the flag hill park and finding sea glass and pottery shards on the beach at low tide

In the heart of Inverness, Carisbrooke Guest House offers contemporary en suite rooms with TVs. There is free Wi-Fi and free private parking. Great guesthouse. Joy is the best possible host. The room was small but comfortable with all the needed appliances. Breakfast was very good. I highly recommend this place and would stay here again if/when I come back to Inverness.

Ideally situated on Stranraer seafront, overlooking Loch Ryan and just 5 minutes' walk from the town centre and train station, this family-run guest house offers free Wi-Fi, ample, free, off-street... Absolutely wonderful, clean and so accommodating. The owner was gracious and kind. what a gem of a place. The charming atmosphere and delicious breakfast was such a pleasure.
