They made us feel at home and part of the family. Mylan's surf knowledge is invaluable - he knows all the spots to fit whatever surfing level and will paddle out and surf with you. Getting in and out of a surf spot is as important as the wave quality. Talking story with Mylan was special, he's so worldly and we had so much in common of surfing experience. Megan and my wife had a great time - Megan is such a kind and considerate person. The ambiance was special with the property layout and vegetation integrated the magically delicious dinners. If you don't have a car they have motorscooters for rent or you can go in their big surf van for a surf adventure. We've traveled the world and highly recommend staying at Rumah Nalu!

The owner came out and greeted me and also gave me a hand with all my bags which was nice after driving all day in the rain. The shower was smoking hot which was a nice surprise. Lots of amenities for the price. Nice budget guesthouse for just passing through.
