With a tradition of hospitality stretching back to 1923, St George's Cathedral Pilgrim Guesthouse - Jerusalem is set in a traditional stone building and provides air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi access. A restaurant, a spacious stone-paved terrace and a bar are available. The breakfast was basic but fit the bill and got you on a good start to your day. The one night we stayed there we got the Salmon for dinner and it was generous and delicious! The courtyard of the guest house was breezy and an absolute delight to dine in! The location of the guest house makes it a great launch into the Old City of Jerusalem as it is only a short 5-10 minute walk from the Damascus Gate (so you don't have to worry about parking your car). On your way you to the Damascus Gate, I recommend you stop at the historic Balian family's "Armenian Ceramics of Jerusalem" shop who do beautiful hand-painted ceramics!

St Thomas Home's Guesthouse - Jerusalem has a TV lounge and a Middle Eastern restaurant, open on request at lunch and dinner. A buffet-style breakfast is served each morning. I liked the location and their breakfast was really good! But it was a bit early, between 7AM and 9AM. So a couple of days I was by myself there. Either most people were getting there at 7AM or they were skipping it, but I recommend it. One day I even asked to take a plate to my room and they were fine with it. I also found quite interesting that there was a church in the first floor, I liked this. Even if you don't like this, the place is soundproof, so even if they have a mass people wouldn't hear.
