The hosts were very friendly and hospitable. When we came the host offered us excellent Japanese tea. It was so relaxing and quiet in the middle of intensity of travelling in India. The guesthouse was very clean, and mosquito nets were provided, also washing mashine was there. Apart from the rooms, and kitchen, there was an extra living room, with very large balkony, which created homely and cosy atmosphere. Arigatou🙏

Tara Guest House is located just 1 km from the famous Mahabodhi Temple. Free WiFi access is available. It operates a 24-hour front desk to assist guests at all hours. Strongly recommend!! I was suppose to stay for 2 nights and stayed for 5 . Very clean and welcoming rooms, the family will make you feel at home and help with whatever you may need and always with a smile. I wouldn’t go anywhere else in Bodhgaya! ( bonus fact, they mange a school for some kids in need. Your money will serve good purposes )
