Situated in remote island of Shiraishi, Shiraishi Island International Villa offers accommodation surrounded by nature. We really enjoyed our stay at International Villa on this small, but beautiful island. The view is absolutely worth it’s price and the room was clean and modern furnished. The house offers everything you need, there is a shared space outside as well as an living room and a spacious kitchen. If you plan to cook, you won’t miss anything. Also the check-in went easy an the manager was very friendly and kind.

Guest House Toranjyo-lit is set in Tamano, 60-minutes from Takamatsu via ferry and 60-minutes from Okayama via train or bus. Guests can enjoy the on-site cafe. Oli kuin kesämökillä olisi ollut. Täysin erilaista, kuin hotelleissa. Yöllä ei kuulunut mitään ja nukuimme erittäin hyvin. Aamupala oli konstailemattoman hyvä.

200 metres from Rian Bunko Art Museum, Lino下伊福 is a recently renovated property located in Okayama and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. It is a large accomodation for Japanese standards. It is located within a residential district where you do not come across other tourists. There is a very good sushi restaurant only 5-8 min from the accomodation.

The whole place is spacious and the host provides delicious dinner for you, the location is a bit far away from city centre and major attractions but if you are driving then it will not be a problem

Large rooms with modern amenities. Nice quality of life details like breakfast, coffee, and a portable TV that you can move between the rooms. A CD player with a great sound system. Location is right in the middle of a scenic area, with access to food and other shopping

Located in Kurashiki, 300 metres from Shinkeien Garden and 8.4 km from Tanematsuyama Park, Temari Inn Yukikai provides spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Temari Yukikai is an absolute gem. Our own little Japanese inn for two nights. You will be treated to an amazing experience with the kindest hosts and very thoughtful touches each day. From a welcome drink and treat, to sleeping kimono to use, to afternoon drinks and treats. They even made reservations for us at a head spa and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. Situated within 200 metres of Tanukian Bunko Art Museum and 600 metres of Houkancho Shopping Street, ゲストハウス MEETS 岡山 offers rooms in Okayama. The property had everything we could wish for! All amenities in place, very clean, comfortable room and bed, little noise, and good location (close to the station). All this for affordable price, would very much recommend! What made our stay superb was the hospitality of the host! He accommodated our ad-hoc travel style, he went above and beyond to keep our luggage safe so we could visit Naoshima, which we were very grateful for! Thank you!

Set within 1.1 km of Hourseshoe Crab Museum and 4.3 km of Kasaoka Sun Plaza, オーベルジュ美の浜 流石 provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kasaoka. This little hotel which I mainly booked to break up our driving journey between destinations turned out to be a little gem. It was quaint clean and had a beautiful traditional Japanese garden outlook from our room and the best dinner we had in Japan. The food was top notch and so delicious it melted in your mouth. Definitely book the meal option 😊

Nestled in the beautiful countryside, Okayama Hostel Igusa is a traditional 50-year old Japanese-style home that has been renovated into a guesthouse. It was such a beautiful place! Rooms were very comfortable and had an amazing traditional Japanese vibe. The common room was spacious and looked out into the garden. Don't let the location scare you off!
