Located in Nanto and only 44 km from Kanazawa Castle, GOKAYAMA BASE provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The house was pristine, everything was clean and in good conditions. The showers and bathrooms were also impecable. The staff was friendly, and very clear with the indications. The location is five minutes by car to Ainokura traditional village, and close to restaurants and shops, very easy to reach from the road. I would definitely stay here again!

Guesthouse Iwase is set in Toyama, 2.2 km from Toyama-kō and 14 km from Toyama Family Park. The host was really kind, he made conversation with me even though I speak little japanese and recommended a few spots around the area to visit. Both the house and the share rooms were more spacious than I expected, and I also got a couple of free tram tickets with my stay. Great experience.

Very friendly and helpful staff! It was amazing to stay in a traditional Japanese thatched house (over 300 years old). The accommodation was warm and had a very cosy lounge area (with guitars and other instruments to play) and lots of cooking space. The location was also quite spectacular with views of the city at night and located next to a lake, park, and sports facilities. There is also a bus stop directly outside of the property. Definitely a must if you're planning to stay in Nanto.

The place looked nice and ckean. My hosts were very kind and welcoming. I had an authentic Japanese village experience.
