Link House felt like a 'Home away from Home'. As mentioned by other guests Yumiko is a lovely and kind host, her house has a homely feel with all the mod cons and her English is amazing. We really enjoyed our discussions about all things Japan and 'just life in general' while enjoying the warmth of the kotatsu. She gave us some great tips for our visit around Fuji-san and made reservations for us at a popular local restaurant, named Yabu (traditional Japanese food, a real crowd pleaser, don't miss it). Our stay at Link House is one to be repeated :-).

The setting of the place was remarkable, situated right across from Mt Fuji. Fortunately, during my two-day stay, the weather was clear, allowing for unobstructed views of the mountain. The room, ideally sized for a couple, featured a wardrobe for storing our luggage. The pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and the room maintained a cozy warmth, thanks to the air conditioners and bed warmers.

Renovated in September 2018, Guesthouseほのぼの offers an accommodation with free WiFi in Fujikawaguchiko, 1.3 km from Lake Kawaguchi. Very friendly owner, he was even pick and drop us to the train station, gave us lots of tips and instructions about area need to go. Very flexible person. The property is okay, value for the money, simple guest house, and free hot beverages. Point is we love the host hospitality. Superb!

El Guesthouse Murabito, inaugurado en julio de 2017, se encuentra a solo 2 minutos a pie del lago Yamanaka. Hay wifi gratis en todas las instalaciones y estacionamiento privado gratuito. A cosy place to stay. Felt like home to me. I travelled from Yokohama and the highway bus stopped right next to this guesthouse. Highway bus to Tokyo also stops at the same bus stop and that is very convenient. Their bike rental rate is one of the cheapest too! Thank you so much Marino and Kei for the hospitality💕 I would definitely be back in the future to hike up the trails around Yamanakako 🗻
