What a fantastic gem, a garden of eden hidden away in a vast citrus plantation, decorated with exceptional flair and taste. Our rooms were beautiful, large, spacious, clean, all details thought of and with a well -stocked drinks fridge. The staff were amazing : sweet, kind, caring, competent. They looked after us as if we were family, very welcome beloved family even. It was lovely to have dinner there, well- cooked by young and competent chef, unpretentious but tasty meals with good wines. I would love to not tell anyone about this beautiful place and keep it all to myself, but pleasure is made to be shared, and this place is a true pleasure. Monique, the manager, and Stoopi and the housekeepers spoilt us from the moment we got there until we left, and even after. An unforgettable stay in an unforgettably beautiful place. I was horrified to see a German couple at the table next to us leave 4 Rand on the table. The tip in South Africa is between 10 to 15%. I was ashamed for my countryman.

Gerald's Gift Guest House is gelegen in een prachtig onderhouden tuin en biedt luxe accommodatie aan de oevers van de rivier de Coerny. Hele fijne locatie wanneer je het Addo Elephan park bezoekt. Ontzettend lieve gastvrouw. Die ´s avonds toen wij aankwamen zelfs nog sandwiches voor ons en onze kinderen ging maken. De tuin is prachtig en we hebben heerlijk ontbeten in het Guesthouse. En lekker gegeten in het restauran The Eatery. Echt een aanrader.

Of course, one of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic swimming pool. Sundune Guest House ligt aan de oevers van de rivier de Sundays en heeft een tuin met terras. Er is ook een gedeelde lounge. The property is very safe, as they have CCTV and electric fences. The room is clean and comfortable, and you can easily tell that they really paid attention to details. It is really nice to walk along the river behind the property in the morning or evening. What I like the most is the manager, Leanne. She is a wise lady and very informative. She gave me a lot of tips about travelling in South Africa and also Addo Elephant Park. I told her I wanted to try bobotie before I left the country and she recommended me to visit Nanaga Farm Stall. Thanks to Leanne, I managed to find bobotie pie there =) Unfortunately, I was only there for one night. If not, I really think that there are many things that I can learn from her

Happy Jackal is conveniently located 2 km from the South Gate to Addo National Park. This guest house features an outdoor pool and the spacious rooms come with satellite TV, and a refrigerator. heerlijk verblijf, super fijne lokatie, lekker ontbijt. Maar bovenal de hele fijne sfeer die er hangt. We hebben een middagje lekker bij het zwembad gelegen, het was er mooi rustig deus wij konden heerlijk bij komen van onze game drive. We hebben via de Happy Jackal een game drive geboekt en zijn met ranger Gabriel op pad geweest, een zeer ervaren ranger die veel wist te vertellen en de dieren heel goed wist te spotten, Top dag!!

Guesthouse Kronenhoff, een prachtige huis in Kaaps-Nederlandse stijl, ligt in de mooie Sunday River Valley, grenzend aan het Addo Elephant Park, en is toegankelijk vanaf het hele Oost-Kaap wegennet. Beautiful building and surroundings, excellent service and fantastic food!

Beyond Cui Bono heeft een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een bar in Sunland. Er is gratis privéparkeren en de accommodatie is voorzien van betaalde shuttleservice naar deze... The property was secured. The pool was lovely. The secret garden was really wonderful. We enjoyed having our tea and listening to the birds sing.
