The nearest airport is Akureyri Airport, 84 km from the holiday home. This is one of the best place we stayed in during our trip in Iceland. The cabin is isolated so very calm, it is new, very clean and well equipped. It feels very homy. The owners were very nice. We totally recommend this place.

Loved the quality of the fittings and the excellent kitchen. Very peaceful location and stunning views from the huge windows. Felt like home from home.

When we arrived I regretted booking for only one night. This is a perfect getaway for several days. Entering the house with the spacious veranda and the great view it just felt like home because it had this personal touch (little library..) Kitchen was well equipped. We made use of the washing machine, very handy after 10 days. We`ll try and visit again

The Summer Cottage is probably the most beautiful, I've ever seen. There is a lovely little "living room", a small kitchen, a bathroom with free shampoo and a cozy bedroom inside. The owners are also super friendly and helpful. I recommend it totally!

Guests can enjoy a meal on an outdoor dining area while overlooking the mountain views. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Every single thing! We chose this place for the night before heading back to Reykjavik and it was the best decision ever! The house is big and spacious. Kitchen and common area is wide enough for everyone. Have all the kitchenware you need. The house even comes with washing machine and dryer. Rooms and bed are comfy. The host is very responsive and provided us the detailed instruction of how to check in much in advance. We find no problem to find the place. It is a really small, but peaceful and quiet town. But we enjoy our time here very much.

Located on a farm in Árhólar 11 km from the main road, Laxárdalur Cabin offers cottages with a kitchen, dining area and private bathroom Einarsstaðir is a 45-minute drive away, while Akureyri is 80 km away. Guests benefit from free WiFi. Super clean and functional cottage. It had all we needed.
