Located in Palomino, 400 metres from Palomino Beach, Casa del Pavo Real Boutique Hostel provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. The place is beautiful. Lovely tiles and colours, good pool, great rooms, balconies, hammocks, work area and even a small workout area. I stayed in the 6-peiole dorm and it was the best sleep I've ever had (my watch told me so and I felt it). Excellent mattress, the best pillow I've encountered so far on my travels and an additional pillow, which I appreciated. Also, the mosquito net around the bed is great. Again, I slept so well here and want to come back just for that. Also, the included breakfast is great. Prepared with love and attention to detail. The staff on the whole were amazing.

Situated within 100 metres of Palomino Beach in Palomino, Maria Mulata Palomino has a garden and a bar, as well as free WiFi throughout the property. Best value hostel in Colombia! Big food and drink portions, fun staff and it’s a 1min walk to the beach. The owner is super chill and will help you out with anything. I came to stay here for 2 nights and kept extending my stay because I didn’t want to leave.

Set in Ríohacha, Guajira region, Hammocks - Hamacas is situated 100 metres from Playa de Riohacha. The hostel also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. No complaints! It's basic but well-run. Joshua speaks good English and provided details for a 3 day tour of the desert - also recommended. The hammocks were strong and comfortable.The air conditioning works, there are lockers (bring your own padlock), a courtyard with chairs for socialising, and the beach is a very short walk away. I stayed here twice.

Coco Sänkala Hostel offers accommodation in Palomino. The property is set in an eco-friendly building. You will find a shared kitchen at the property. Common areas have WiFi access and hammocks. We love everything about this hostel. Staff was kind, friendly and supportive! We had three choices of breakfast, which was included in cost of staying and every time breakfast was delicious. Coffee and water provided during all day. Kitchen was well equipped and available for visitors to cook. Our room was very comfortable with bed tables, side benches, a few hooks, a wall fan. It was easy to organize our stuff and still have neat room. They provided daily cleaning service of the room if you wish. The hostel was well maintained and very clean. They use sola panels. So, we had power in our rooms when whole town lost it. Location is great as well. In center of everything, but a little away from the main road. We did not have noise. Highly recommended!

Corazón de Tagua is the perfect place for a relax stay in Palomino. The garden and the vibe of the place is friendly and calm. The shared kitchen is an amazing advantage, to be able to choose when to cook when you´re not in the mood for the crowds in the restaurants. Omar and the staff are always willing to help in any requirements and also enjoy nice conversations. They kept my stuff for free when leaving for Tayrona park which is really valuable too. Will definitely come back and highly recommend. Thanks so much!

Rancheria Utta is located in Cabo de la Vela. It is a simple property that offers a private beach area, restaurant and a small market on site. we libre all the experience, the people, they had vegetarian food and that was amazing. all the place full recommended

Hostel Laguna Salá By FSL has an outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Ríohacha. It was a nice place to stay, social places were really nice and I felt secure there.

Featuring free WiFi, Kanta Sana offers accommodation in Palomino. Guests can enjoy the garden and the bonfire facility. Free private parking is available on site. Everything! The best hostel in Colombia untill now. Clean, fresh mango raining everywhere, beds extremely comfortable and separated one from eachother, plenty of space, every bed with it's own fan and plug, common area super nice, guys working there super nice, breakfast of choice and delicious. And the price for all this is incredible. Hope to be back!
