Situated in Freiburg im Breisgau and within 700 metres of Freiburg Cathedral, Black Forest Hostel has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. It is one of the best hostels I ever stay in. Very clean and thoughtful decorated. There is all the amenities, high standard needed for an awesome stay. Close to the water, train station (about 200m) and a few good restaurants around. Last and not least, Analuisa, is that host that you wanna hug every second minute - helpful, a good singer and everything that one wants when starting the Camino journey. Thank you, Analuisa! Featuring a table tennis court, garden terrace and barbecue facilities, this hostel is located a 5-minute drive from the Swiss border in Lörrach. Jugendherberge Lörrach offer views of Basel. Breakfast was good. Very satisfied. Staff were friendly.
