Situated in Cairo, 400 metres from Tahrir Square, Champollion Hostel offers air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. Loved it here. It's a hostel but only 5 rooms so a homey feel to it. Breakfast is complete with omlete, yogurt, fruit, buns, butter, cheese and jam. Water and coffee/tea available. All the staff are great and very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, short walk to Tahrir Square and the Egyptian Museum. Hot showers, good wifi. The hostel will also book you day trips. We did a private tour of Giza, Saqqara and Dashur and asked for no shopping stops and got exactly what we asked for. Loved the elevator from the 1800s.

You can't hardly expect more for what we payed. Nice big room with terrace and pyramid view. Super friendly owners and staff. The beds very nice and comfy the room was equipped with a sitting area and table. There was also a small kitchen in the lobby

Highly recommend this place to any and all kinds of people. We were greeted by the loveliest people who made our trip in Egypt a trip of a lifetime. Mahmoud is a wonderful host who cares about his guests like his own family, he provided us with transportation, tours around the pyramids, with lots of fun activities like quad biking in the desert and camel riding. The rooms are also incredibly clean and if anything is missing, Mahmoud will provide it on the spot. He also has his own restaurant which overlooks the pyramids in a very beautiful way. If you landed on this booking, I suggest you look no further because this will be the perfect spot for you!
