A great traditional guest house for travellers! The host is very kind, the place is beatiful and warm. There is a nice common area on the ground floor where you can eat and chat with other guests. The place is very clean. It is located in Samegai, which is a very small town, with no noise and very calm. Quite easy to reach Kyoto from here. Great place!

Smeštajni objekat ゲストハウスでたらめ荘 ima besplatne bicikle, vrt, zajednički salon i bar u gradu Yamakami. I had a really great time in this place, thanks to Konbu, Michi and Egosan who are amazing hosts. I was looking for a place to stay for a few days to do nothing but rest and this place was perfect. I really felt at home, the living room was my lair. There is a grocery store 15 minutes by walk but to be fair I didnt go there since you can ask Egosan to cook for you (1000 ¥/meal). And let me tell you that he is a great cook. On the first evening he asked me what is my favorite Japanese dish and he made it the following day ! Since I was the only customer during my stay we spend time together, they even bring me with them to go to a good local restaurant and then they surprised me by going to a bakery since I said I wanted to try Japanese dessert. Once again, I had a really great time !

Quite place next to the river and lake. There's also a kind of kitchen. Really confy beds too. The owner really friendly and English speaker. I really suggest if you want to visit hikone castle and relax

Objekat 長濱元浜町宿場 片原楽家 je smešten u gradu Nagahama, na 14 km od znamenitosti Hikone Castle, a u ponudi ima nepušačke smeštajne jedinice, terasu, besplatan WiFi u celom objektu i bar. The host makes amazing coffee. A very friendly person. I had a great stay. The location is perfect for cyclists who are cycling around Lake Biwa from Otsu.

We loved how accomodating and nice the staff were they were always making sure the space/ our room was tidy and neat and provided us with fresh linen, towels and robes daily. They cooked us meals and treated us like family! The location is beautiful right on the lake with amazing sunrises and sunsets and just a short 10 minuet walk to the station or a 15 minuet walk to 711. We honestly can’t fault anything about this property and can’t wait to stay again!
