The place is very clean. It is located in Samegai, which is a very small town, with no noise and very calm. Quite easy to reach Kyoto from here. Great place!

I was looking for a place to stay for a few days to do nothing but rest and this place was perfect. I really felt at home, the living room was my lair. There is a grocery store 15 minutes by walk but to be fair I didnt go there since you can ask Egosan to cook for you (1000 ¥/meal). And let me tell you that he is a great cook. On the first evening he asked me what is my favorite Japanese dish and he made it the following day ! Since I was the only customer during my stay we spend time together, they even bring me with them to go to a good local restaurant and then they surprised me by going to a bakery since I said I wanted to try Japanese dessert. Once again, I had a really great time !

GUEST HOUSE NAGORIYA ligger i Hikone, 1,7 km från Hikone slott, och erbjuder boende med en bar och gratis privat parkering. Boendet har ett gemensamt kök och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Hikone is so enjoyable. I borrowed a bicycle free of charge, and it was amazing to cycle around the lake, castle and downtown.

長濱元浜町宿場 片原楽家 ligger i Nagahama, 14 km från Hikone slott, och har luftkonditionerade rum och en terrass. Boendet ligger inom 8,9 km från Maibara station och har en bar. The host makes amazing coffee. A very friendly person. I had a great stay. The location is perfect for cyclists who are cycling around Lake Biwa from Otsu.

Biwa-Lakeside Cottage B B Dylan ligger i Minami-komatsu, 24 km från Sanzen-in tempel, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. We loved how accomodating and nice the staff were they were always making sure the space/ our room was tidy and neat and provided us with fresh linen, towels and robes daily. They cooked us meals and treated us like family! The location is beautiful right on the lake with amazing sunrises and sunsets and just a short 10 minuet walk to the station or a 15 minuet walk to 711. We honestly can’t fault anything about this property and can’t wait to stay again!
