The rest of the staff are so friendly, accomodating and sweet. You can see why people constantly extend.

Situated in Panglao, within 700 metres of Dumaluan Beach and 2.7 km of Libaong White Beach, Izla Soanna features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests... My favourite hostel in a 2 month trip. At first I was going to stay in Izla Soanna for 3 nights and ended up staying 9 nights an then coming back! The rooms are very clean and comfy, they have a fan per bed and nice mosquito nets. There is also the option of affordable private rooms. The location is just perfect, very near the nicest beach in panglao and at short distance from alona where all the touristy shops are. What I enjoyed the most was the people there, Anna, Flor and Sofia will make you always feel like home, they are extremely nice, helpful and funny. Definitely worth spending some time with them!

I have been in a lot of hostels, I even worked in hostels. This is an amazing place. I have never seen nicer people managing a hostel. Everything is very clean, they take of every little detail. Riu del Mar Hostel is situated in Dauis, 5.8 km from Hinagdanan Cave and 40 km from Tarsier Conservation Area. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Best and friendliest service I've had so far. Lend me a scooter for free to ride to dinner on the day of arrival. Was invited to a family reunion. I was able to join them for lunch. Great breakfast and free kayaking. I'd love to come back.

This was a peaceful place to stay with a very hospitable host. The room was clean and cozy. It was a social place and there was always someone friendly to talk to. The host had free coffee available all day and provided meals if needed.
