If everyone had the same attitude as Pedro and Sara the world would be a better place, We thought that the hostel could not have been open long due to how clean everything was, turns out it had been open four years..

Situated in Lamego and with Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary reachable within 1.4 km, Host'olaria features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. The property is set 12 km from Douro Museum, 36 km from Natur Waterpark and 18 km from Monastery of São Joao de Tarouca. Mateus Palace is 35 km from the hostel and São João da Pesqueira Wine Museum is 50 km away. everything seemed new. The kitchen area was very well organized and everything was clean. Shower was one of the very best showers, hot water and you had room to move.

The property is located in the city center and the building itself it’s very nice. The room was very clean and warm. No annoying noises, it was a good night sleep. The breakfast was fresh and homemade. There is also an outside area that is very pleasant.

The staff was friendly and helpful. It an excellent value for the money.

The hostel also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Beautiful place in the nature, wonderful views and the swimming pool. The hosts are extremely nice and acommodating. It was our second time here, and we hope to come back. Highly recommended.

Amazing View! Great location to explore Douro valley and Pinhao. Short distance from station and great restaurant Locomotiva.. Excellent food. Beautiful walk over the bridge of river. Uber rides and taxis. Safe, clean with new appliances.. Washing machine, oven, microwave... Tv and WiFi. 2 minutes from train station.. That has great coffee!

pedro and sara are super helpful and friendly. they created an amazing hostel including the best hostel kitchen we've ever seen, a rooftop with a garden and very warm and welcoming rooms.

Everything was perfect. Best hostel we have stayed in, extremely clean, great aircon, honesty system close to train station. A big mention to Pedro & Sara who make you feel right at home as you arrive, welcoming us with refreshing drinks and smiles. The tiered rooftop Terrace is a great space to meet new travellers and also have some time out for yourself.

I had a great time in Pinhão. Pedro and Sara were such amazing hosts. They were helpful, full of local knowledge and go the extra mile. I felt welcomed all the time. They made me feel like at home. The best hostel I've ever stayed, it was more like staying in a friend's place. Sure thing I will definitely return and spend more time in Pinhão next time.

I think this is the best hostel we ever stay, Pedro & Sara are amazing hosts, Pedro gave us a lot details and things to do around the area, which is so useful, this place is exceptional, very very clean, rooftop with amazing view which you can chill and talk to other travellers who stay, nice people and best vibes ever! best hostel I’ve ever stayed at! very homely atmosphere, you forget you’re staying at a hostel. Sarah and Pedro are wonderful hosts. they gave us lots of helpful tips of where to go and what to do during our stay. 100% would stay again!

Amazing hostel! Pedro is a host of incredible kindness and dedication. The hostel, with a perfect location in the centre of Pinhão, has a charm and comfort that can be found in every detail, from the decoration and practicality of the rooms and bathrooms to the functionality of the USB sockets in the bunk beds and individual lockers. The charming terrace, for socialising, is the icing on the cake. And Pedro has fantastic tips for trekking in the region. One of he best hostels I've stayed in on my travels.
