Situated in Ponta Delgada, 13 km from Pico do Carvao, Sky PDL features air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. Very modern, super spacious rooms, with neutral and minimalistic decoration. Overall, a well renovated building, right in the city centre of Ponta Delgada. The terrace on the 5th floor offers great views over the city. The location is excellent, and there's free parking right nearby, and if full, the alternative is a couple hundred meters away. Breakfast was nice with some regional produce.

The room really amazed us: beautifully decorated, very clean and modern. We loved the welcome gifts. The bed was very comfortable. We liked the big shower. The hostel downstairs living room with kitchen and the patio created the perfect environment to hang out with other guests and to share some nice moments. The kitchen was very well equipped and the breakfast was very good. The Santa Alegria Hostel team was always available, they were very kind and helpful and made our vacation in S. Miguel Island even more perfect. Thank you Inês and Candido, you made us feel like home and we hope to visit you again!

Everything was excellent, very clean, bed was very big and comfortable, a fridge, coffee maker and all kitchen utensils were included and in great condition. Perfect central location. Overall a great place to stay, no complaints

Very good breakfast with both savory and sweet options, fresh fruits, coffee or tea. 24h access to the kitchen (there is possibility to cook as there is stove, oven, pots, cutting board and more!) with big fridge where you can leave anything (even marker and sticker are provided to mark your food). The fridge also makes drinkable water or ice cubes. In the small patio you can find ping pong table! Reception is friendly, ready to help, speaking fluent English. Code sistem makes it possible to arrive any time of a day. Rooms are big and spacious, with much space for unpacking clothes. Bathroom big as well, clean.

13 km from Pico do Carvao, Pé Direito is located in Ponta Delgada and provides air-conditioned rooms. Absolutely fabulous place - the nicest hostel I've ever stayed at and the staff was wonderful.
