We live close to the Bavarian Alps with our four cats. Even though we both have demanding jobs, we try to travel to the US once a year. We have fallen in love with the Big Island of Hawai'i and are looking forward to sharing this beautiful place with our guests.
Your home away from home on the Big Island is located just a four-minute drive from Kahalu’u Beach Park for some amazing snorkeling, and within walking distance of Keauhou Bay and the Keauhou shopping center, where you will find grocery stores, dining, a movie theater, and a huge diversity of shops – and of course there’s Manta Village in Keauhou Bay where you can spot the eponymous Hāhālua (which is Hawaiian for “manta ray”) right from the shore or go snorkeling with them at night. You have a free, dedicated parking spot right in front of the building. Beaches, Shopping, Dining, and Downtown Kona are only a few minutes' drive away, and a pretty beach and Keauhou Shopping Center are even within walking distance.
