All apartments include a fully equipped kitchen, ceramic hot plate and under floor central heating. Facilities include a thermal-heated swimming pool, poolside bar, shared barbecue facilities and laundry. The room was excellent having all the required amenities and most of the facilities were quite modern. We loved the thermal pool and it allowed us to relax after a busy day out. The bed was very comfortable and we recommend this property highly!

This is a quality property. From check-in to check-out the staff (particularly John the duty manager) were extremely helpful with advice and information. Sitting on the balcony looking out over the lake was so relaxing after a busy day of walking and touring. Then a quick drive and you're in the midst of heaps of dining options. This was the only property to provide real milk on a road trip with many hotels.

All guest rooms at the motel feature an outdoor balcony or patio. Some apartments also offer sweeping views of Lake Taupo. At The Village Resort each room has a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. The rooms are fabulous and very spacious. It’s more like a home than a hotel. They have everything you need, kitchen. laundry and tea. This is probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I highly recommend.
