I don’t even know where to begin. Lizi and her family were the most wonderful hosts. So warm and friendly and responsive to our questions. She told me all the best places to go for antique shopping and hiking to the channel. And the cottage was newly renovated and exquisite in every detail. From the large, newly built wardrobe to the medallions and light fixtures on the ceilings to the beautiful lighting in the kitchen. Even the path to the hot tub was magical. Lizi even had homemade bread and eggs and milk for us. We will never forget you. You made so many memories for us in 48 short hours. Come to Texas and I’ll roll out the red carpet for YOU next time. Maria is an absolute delight! She is always engaging with the guests trying to make them feel at home, at least that's what it felt like to me. The house is cozy and warm, and the pets are around the house, so it does feel like another day with the family. The breakfast was delicious and listening to the story of the house was wonderful.

Coffee and tea making facilities were included as well as a welcome treat of scones with clotted cream for my wife and a gluten-free flapjack for me. Steve and Becky were wonderful hosts and served an exceptionally good breakfast cooked to order each morning. They took great care to ensure my celiac needs were taken care of. They really went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. My only regret was not packing swim trunks to enjoy their hot tub.
