The staff was amazing and I felt extremely welcomed. The bedroom had a smart TV and the bed and bathroom were beyond my expectations. In short I liked everything.

Hotel Klea is in the Castle of Berat, just 40 meters from the main gate. Set in a traditional house, it offers free WiFi access in public areas and a 24-hour front desk, a garden and a terrace. Hotel Klea is like a second home. You think you make a hotel booking but you get a brother in Kseno and a mother, gjyshja who cook for you and serve you with love and affection. Restaurant Klea itself is a reason to stay here because of the lovely homemade breakfast (included in the booking). The rooms are basic but effective and serve the needs of guests. Anything you want, just ask and Kseno and family will do their best to help! We left the hotel smiling and laughing and hugging!

Featuring a terrace and free WiFi throughout the property, Koroni Boutique Hotel is set in Berat. The nearest airport is Tirana International Mother Teresa Airport, 118 km from the hotel. This hotel is brand new. The owners spent three years renovating an old stone building and they’ve thought of everything. Beautiful building, quiet and spacious room, lovely design with comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom and lovely touches like rugs on the floor and lace curtains that are handmade by the owner’s grandmother. The breakfast is incredible - massive portions, all homemade and something different every day. There are three free parking spots right outside the door but we chose to park in a private lot just down the street for 2 euros a night - a convenient and easy option. Location is perfect - a 2-minute walk to the bridge to cross over to the other side. Everything is very close by foot. The owners are the sweetest people - they can’t do enough for you - incredible hospitality
