Hotel Garni Weinquadrat is situated in the centre of Weißenkirchen in the scenic Wachau region, only steps away from the Danube. All rooms have free Wi-Fi and a tea/coffee maker. The hotel is centrally located in a perfect location- Weissenkirchen is a small local medievil town in the Wachau valley. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the Danube, from great local restaurants and had the perfect atmosphere to enjoy the vacation. breakfast was extraordinary and so was the personal treatment of the owners. With a car you can get to all the gems of the area. Highly recommended, very good value for money.

Located in Mautern on the southern bank of the Danube, only 2 km from Krems, the Nikolaihof offers very spacious, classically equipped rooms with panoramic views over the Wachau Valley. The location was ideal for our activity, cycling the River Danube between Passau and Vienna stopping at small hotels en route. We hadn’t realised the hotel owner had embraced an ethos around bio sustainability, local produce and services but were pleased to have the experience of our stay. The buffet breakfast was one of the best on our trip and consisted very good quality produce. The hotel owner recommended a local restaurant, making no secret of the fact it was part of the vineyard operation owned and run by her family and it too was a truly excellent experience. The owner and staff were a delight to deal with.

It was in a great location, easy walking distance to some excellent restaurants. Also a good place to explore the Wachau region.

Amazing hotel, so far the best accomodation on our cycling trip. It's very relaxing, clean, misterious and cosy. The breakfast was delicious. Really didn't want to leave.

Surrounded by vineyards, this 4-star hotel is just a 5-minute drive from Göttweig Abbey and 10 minutes from the centre of Krems. The room is large and comfortable. The most amazing feature is its restaurant. The meal we had there is simply the best during our three-week trips around four countries. You also need to try the wine from their own vineyard. People from Vienna come here often just for a meal. Excellent!
