Albion Hotel, a family-run hotel in the centre of Ieper, is 350 metres from the Menin Gate. It features free high-speed WiFi, an intimate bar and packed lunch services. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable and a good location, very good value for the price. The breakfast had a good selection and was very tasty. The staff were absolutely fantastic for us. We were unwell during our stay and they really went above and beyond in looking after us.

The shuttle service to/from recommended local restaurants is such a great idea and was very much appreciated by us. The cooked breakfast was exceptional and we even had freshly squeezed orange juice. We only stayed 1 night but I would have happily stayed for longer and taken advantage of the lounge with board games, honesty bar and quality tea and coffee machines! The terrace outside will be great in warmer weather, it features a little pond and a large barbeque area, surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers.
