I've stayed at this hotel many times over the last year and it far exceeds the quality of any of the other hotels in the area. All of the facilities are excellent however the thing that sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service and incredibly friendly and accomodating staff. I spent a lot of time doing work and relaxing in the 26th floor executive lounge and the service is exemplary. I want to extent a special thanks to Daniel, Lisa, Jade, Lucky, Celia and Angela. They were incredibly friendly and helpful and I highly recommend the executive rooms to any who plans to stay there. The executive floor manager, Rebecca Wang, provides the best service I have ever seen in this type of hotel and I will continue to stay at the 4S in Beijing because due to the wonderful staff it feels more like a home away from home than a hotel.

Starting with Fergus at concierge who arranged all of our train tickets for the duration of our stay not only in Beijing but for all of our stay in China and rushed to get them ready for our trip the next day. Viski and Sunny at breakfast also need mentioning in addition to all the rest whom we did not catch their names during breakfast. And last but not least, Mr. Alan who is the night manager smoothing out any possibilities of things that might go wrong on the morning we left Beijing, sending one of his colleagues with us to the trainstation just to make sure all went well (colleague’s name also Alan who was also most helpful). All in all best service received ever and we travel quite a lot. Thank you Beijing staff, for top class service and making our China trip most memorable.

Beijing is a very very big city with lots of historical buildings from ages ago. I love the buildings, the temples, and most of it, THE GREAT WALL. It is so amazing. But most people there CAN'T SPEAK ENGLISH. The most reliable transportation is only train/metro or high speed train. I don't like taxi or another kind of transportation in Beijing because the drivers don't speak English and most of times they offer a very unreasonable tariff/cost/very high cost. The Great Wall, Tiananmen, Forbidden City, they are sooooo amazing
